Snowshoeing and winter hiking on the Seiser Alm in the Dolomites

Explore the Seiser Alm on foot

The Seiser Alm under her white winter dress: The tour network covers 60 kilometres of perfectly groomed winter hiking trails and 50 kilometres of marked snowshoe trails. In addition, you have a beautiful view over the Dolomites and the peaks of the mountains Langkofel, the Plattkofel and the Schlern.

For snowshoe lovers the area around Tiers am Rosengarten is an absolute must: a tour in the Tschamin Valley or a demanding Alpine excursion, the area provides something to suit every taste. A pleasant winter hiking trail leads from Kastelruth to Seis. It offers wonderful views of the villages at the foot of the Sciliar and the imposing Santner peak.

Tobogganing on the Seiser Alm

Do you want to try something more adventurous? Try out a toboggan slope! On the Seiser Alm you find three toboggan slopes: Florian, Panorama and the Puflatsch. All toboggan runs promise a lot of fun and a fabulous view of the Dolomites. You can get to the set-off point easily on foot, or more easily still by cable car. Toboggans can be rented out straight from the mountain cabins, the mountain stations and ski rentals.

Moonlight tobogganing is particularly popular: Try it!
