The nature reserve of the Alpe di Siusi/Seiser Alm is located right in the heart of the nature park Sciliar-Catinaccio/Schlern-Rosengarten. The park extends over a surface of 7,291 ha and the communal ground of Castelrotto/Kastelruth, Fiè allo Sciliar/Völs am Schlern and Tires al Catinaccio/Tiers am Rosengarten. The park is named after the majestic Sciliar/Schlern with its two peaks Santner and Euringer. The Sciliar mountain is one of the trademarks of the region and for many vacationers on Alpe di Siusi the ultimate highlight. Another great destination in the nature park is the picturesque Lake Fiè/Völs, nestled amid idyllic pine forests. The park is known for its abundance of species and offers perfect conditions for the local flora and fauna – with Alpine rose, Alpine chough, Alpine willow tit and many others species.

Biking and hiking in the Dolomites
